The Player Card Is a Product, Not a Post
Clubpost just built Ultimate-style player cards with ratings, gold tiers and photo cut-outs for grassroots clubs. Nobody is selling the card to the parent. That is a 10 pound product sitting inside a free graphic.
The Monetisation Gap
Every club in the country has parents who would pay 10 pounds for a printed player card of their child. The graphic already exists. The design already exists. The only missing piece is the checkout.
What a Player Card Product Looks Like
- Printed A5 card with player photo, stats, and ratings
- Digital version for sharing on social media
- Seasonal collection (all players in one pack)
- Sponsor logo on the back (additional revenue)
The Economics
Print cost: ~0.50 pounds per card. Sell at 10 pounds. That's 9.50 profit per card. A 15-player squad generates 142.50 per season from cards alone. Multiply across age groups and it's a real revenue stream.
Why Nobody Is Doing This
Because graphics tools are sold as marketing tools, not product tools. The clubs that figure out the product angle first will own this revenue stream.
